I am surprised at lack of holiday accommodation in Wynnum and Manly area We Are a lovely bayside village.. With lots to offer ..A caravan park would be welcome Perhaps some of our more wealthy locals might invest in buying caravans or mobile homes to rent out to holiday makers ..or weekenders from the city. If the land was made available… We should really promote .. The more we promote The more some of the empty shops can be opened again as cafes etc …and to be able to say ‘” Go to the Local Cinema or Hotel or RSL and or just sit with a coffee to on the water front in the evening with our great fish and chips shops .. or watch the Fantastic sun rise each morning.. Such a lot can be done to enhance our lovely Bayside..
I am not sure if the is a area in our newly appointed community hall that could allow movies to be shown a few days or night a week. Worth a thought.

I would like to see a 48hr free camp for self contained motor homes and caravans. They spend good money in the community and quite often r looking for somewhere in the Wynnum/manly area. They spend money on repairs food fuel and tourist sight seeing. Or perhaps u can put in a caravan park for paying guests, the closest ones r not close at all Thorneside Thornlands come on bayside look after the nomads and they will return the favour. Check out what other small towns have achieved by working with the traveller. Thank u
