Much as I welcome the smaller individual stores, they are somewhat expensive and won’t appeal to the majority of Wynnum residents. We lost out when the Plaza was built in Wynnum West and now have too many Op shops, hairdressers and chemists. No wonder the banks are leaving! We also lost the IGA centre in Bay Terrace, which is still in need of redevelopment. Do we have any one or body to start the ball rolling and bring Wynnum back to life? We need a transfusion!!
